Why Sensitivity Labels Do Not Appear in Private Channels

Private Channel Shows a Different Label Than the Team

This can occur if the private channel was created before the team label was changed. The private channel keeps the old label until it is manually updated. Go to the private channel’s SharePoint site and update the label from the site settings. In Teams, the label will update after a few minutes.
