Hide a Google Calendar Appointment Schedule Without Closing Its Booking Page

Hiding an appointment schedule from your Google Calendar grid does not close its booking page. Google’s editing guidance says people can continue booking from the link. Use hiding only as a personal display choice, not as a way to stop a service from accepting appointments.

Identify the display operation

On a computer, locate the Appointment schedule and inspect the option to hide it from the calendar. Check that the command concerns the schedule’s display rather than a confirmed appointment. Booked appointments can remain visible even when the availability schedule is hidden.

Choose the action that fits the goal

If the goal is simply a clearer grid, hiding may be appropriate. If the goal is to stop offering times, review adjusted availability, the schedule’s date range, or the appropriate schedule deletion workflow instead. Do not infer closure from the absence of an availability block on your own screen.

Google’s cancellation guidance also distinguishes deleting a schedule from canceling appointments already booked through it. Removing the schedule does not automatically cancel those confirmed meetings.

Verify the visitor route

Open the previously distributed booking link in an appropriate visitor context and inspect its actual availability. Review existing confirmed appointments independently and communicate any required cancellation through the relevant event workflow. Keep a record of where the link was shared if it must later be withdrawn or replaced. A hidden block proves only that the owner’s display changed. The useful completion check establishes whether visitors can still book and whether already booked participants have an accurate current arrangement, with no assumption that one display control performs all three tasks.
