Google Slides provides Q&A history for reviewing questions from recent presentation sessions. This is useful for following up on unanswered topics or checking what an audience asked. Treat the history as session material requiring context, not as an automatic list of verified facts or commitments.
Open recent session history
On a computer, open the presentation and choose Tools > Q&A history. Google’s guidance says recent sessions appear in the panel on the right. Select the relevant session and check its context before reviewing the questions.
Read questions in context
Distinguish a participant’s question from an answer actually given during the event. A request for a refund, a proposed deadline, or a claim about a product does not establish that the presenter agreed to it. Verify any follow-up action against the event’s actual decisions.
Identify unanswered questions and group related topics where that helps planning. Preserve the original meaning rather than rewriting a sensitive submission into a stronger allegation.
Handle follow-up carefully
Use the history to prepare an appropriate response or future presentation revision. Check who may access the presentation and any material you plan to share from the session. Avoid copying personal details into a broadly distributed deck without a clear need. Google’s help describes recent-session history, so do not promise indefinite retention or recovery of every old event. Review the current interface and preserve necessary records through an approved organizational process when the event requires formal documentation. Confirm the session date before preparing a follow-up response.
