A published Google Slides presentation can be embedded in a website through generated HTML. This creates an audience viewing route on the host page. Review both the presentation’s publication scope and the website’s actual display before treating the embed as ready for visitors.
Generate the embed
On a computer, open File > Share > Publish to web and choose Embed. Select the presentation size and slide timing offered by the dialog. Publish only after confirming that the deck is appropriate for the permitted audience.
Add the code in the approved location
Copy the generated HTML and place it through the website’s supported embedding workflow. A site editor may filter embedded content, so inspect the saved page rather than assuming that pasted code is automatically served as intended. Keep the change limited to the authorized page or component.
Do not use publication to bypass an organization’s access restrictions. A restricted presentation can still require an eligible account even when the website itself is public.
Verify the real host page
Open the page as a representative visitor and inspect the embedded presentation’s width, height, navigation, and timing. Check a narrow phone-sized viewport as well as a desktop. Confirm that no content is cut off and that viewers understand any access requirement. Review future deck edits because Google’s guidance says Slides publications update automatically. To withdraw the presentation, stop publishing and verify the host page again; removing ordinary collaborator access should not be assumed to disable an existing published embed.
