Check Booking Page Name and Photo Before Sharing a Calendar Schedule

A Google Calendar booking page can display the account’s name and profile photo. Review that identity before sharing a schedule for business or personal appointments. Google’s guidance says the booking page is public to anyone who has its link, even though the calendar itself is not automatically shared.

Open the actual booking page

Use the intended account on a computer and locate the schedule under Booking pages. Open its visitor-facing page rather than judging only the Calendar grid. Confirm the title, description, and account identity shown there.

Check the identity and calendar context

The setup guidance says booking pages display a name and photo from the Google Account. It also distinguishes pages associated with secondary calendars, which do not show a photo. Check the actual page rather than assuming every schedule uses an identical presentation.

Review whether the displayed name and image are appropriate for the audience. An account identity used for private correspondence may not be suitable for a broadly distributed customer booking link.

Verify before distributing the link

Inspect the page in an appropriate visitor context, including signed-out viewing when relevant. Check that no confidential address or internal detail has been placed in the public-facing text. If you decide to change an account-level name or photo, review its wider account effects separately; it is not merely a local label for one appointment schedule. Save any schedule edits and reopen the page to confirm them. A correct calendar title in the owner’s sidebar does not prove that visitors see the intended organizer identity. Share the link only after checking the page they will actually receive.
