You can save meeting notes, phone call logs, work procedures, shopping lists, packing lists, pre-submission checklists, and more in this device’s browser. You can separate notes and checklists, and use titles, tags, colors, pinning, full-text search, and an incomplete items list.
Your input is auto-saved, and it is restored when you reopen the page on the same device, same browser, and same site. Data is not sent to WiseChecker’s account or servers. No login or registration is required, but if you change devices, it will not sync automatically, so we provide JSON export for backup and migration.

Steps to save notes in the browser

Storage location and sync scope
This tool uses the Web Storage API’s localStorage. It is accessible when you open the same site in the same browser, and it usually persists even after closing the browser. However, it does not sync automatically across different storage environments, such as from Chrome to Edge, from a normal window to a private window, or from a work PC to a home PC.
If you open this page in multiple tabs of the same browser, changes made in other tabs are detected via the storage event and the list is updated. If you edit the same note simultaneously, the last saved content wins, so avoid editing the same note in multiple tabs at once.

Safe handling of JSON backups
The JSON export includes all saved titles, bodies, checklist items, tags, colors, and update timestamps. The file itself is not encrypted. Do not include personal information, customer data, passwords, authentication codes, health information, or similar sensitive data.
When you import on another device, the backup content is added to your current notes. If the same identifier exists, it is changed to a new identifier, and existing notes are not overwritten. Before importing, verify the file name and source, and do not use unknown JSON files.
Notes for using on company or shared PCs
Browser storage does not guarantee that other users of the same device or browser cannot see your data. Do not enter confidential information if you are using a shared account, shared profile, remote desktop, or administrator backups.
To delete everything after finishing work, use “Delete all saved data.” If you exported JSON, the file also remains in your downloads folder, so manage that as well. Do not use this tool if your company’s information management policy prohibits local storage.
Browser storage capacity and possible erasure
The localStorage limit is set by each browser and is generally not suitable for storing large images or attachments. This tool saves only text and limits notes to 300 and checklist items to 500 per note to prevent excessive storage. If the storage limit is exceeded, an error is displayed.
Browsers and operating systems may refuse to save or may delete data due to storage limits, private browsing, or corporate policies. Do not rely on important notes as your only copy; regularly create JSON backups.
No external transmission of your input
Creating notes, searching, tagging, checking items, and JSON export/import are all processed in your browser using JavaScript. Note content is not sent to WiseChecker’s servers, external APIs, AI generators, or analytics services.
Apart from normal site traffic such as the page itself or ads, there is no processing that includes your note content in communications. Only when you choose JSON export does the browser’s standard download feature write it to your device.
FAQ for browser-saved notes
Will it remain after closing the browser?
It usually remains, but may be lost if site data is cleared, in private browsing, or due to device management settings.
Can I sync between smartphone and PC?
Automatic sync is not available. Export as JSON and import on another device.
Are my notes sent to WiseChecker’s servers?
No. They are saved in the browser’s localStorage.
Is it safe to write passwords?
This is not encrypted storage, so do not use it for passwords or authentication codes.
Can I restore accidentally deleted notes?
There is no undo for deletions. You can restore from a JSON backup if you created one beforehand.
