Google Slides can print a presentation with speaker notes through its print-preview controls. This is useful for rehearsal or a presenter handout. Notes can contain information absent from the audience slides, so review their contents before creating a copy that may be shared.
Choose the notes layout
Open the presentation on a computer and choose File > Print settings and preview. In the toolbar, select 1 slide with notes. Google’s printing guidance gives this specific option for including the speaker explanation.
Inspect every preview page
Review the slide image and its associated notes together. Check long notes, empty sections, outdated figures, and private presenter reminders. A note attached to the wrong slide can look reasonable in isolation while making the printed rehearsal confusing.
Do not assume that an ordinary slide PDF download includes the same notes layout. Use the actual print preview to establish what this particular artifact will contain.
Print or save and verify
Click Print, review the browser or system destination settings, and complete the intended output. Open a saved file or inspect a printed sample before producing many copies. Google’s help describes different print behavior across browsers, including PDF download routes in Firefox or Safari, so follow the actual workflow shown. Confirm that the final page count, slide sequence, and notes are appropriate for the recipients. Printing with notes is a deliberate disclosure of that content, not a private presenter view that remains hidden from anyone receiving the paper or file. Check a page containing especially long notes.
