What you can do with the electronic seal and imprint image creator
Enter a name, department, or confirmation date to create round seals, square seals, date stamps, or company seals. Adjust the seal color, border, margin, vertical text, and double border, then save as a transparent-background PNG. Image generation and saving happen entirely within your browser; the text you enter and the seal image are never sent to WiseChecker’s servers.
Round and square seals
Place short text such as a personal name, department name, or “Confirmed” inside a circular or square frame.
Date stamp
Create an image with top, date, and bottom sections separated by divider lines to indicate a review date or processing date.
Company seal
Places the company name and auxiliary text in two tiers. This is not a feature for replicating registered seals or physical company seals.
Actual-size PNG
Calculates pixel dimensions from mm and dpi, then embeds resolution info into a PNG and saves it.
Steps to create an electronic seal and paste it into Word, Excel, or PDF
- Choose seal typeChoose from round, square, date, and company seals to match the submission document.

Relationship between actual size, dpi, and pixels
Image pixel dimensions are calculated as “actual size in mm ÷ 25.4 × dpi.” For example, creating an 18mm seal at 300dpi results in approximately 213px. 300dpi is a good setting for preserving crisp outlines when printing on paper, but 96dpi is sufficient for on-screen display only.

If the target software ignores PNG resolution information, the image may be placed at a size different from the specified mm. In that case, manually enter the width and height in the image format settings.
Difference between electronic seals and electronic signatures
The digital stamp created here is an ordinary image. It can mark a review or approval position, but it does not cryptographically prove who signed, when they signed, or whether the document changed afterward.

For contracts, applications whose format is prescribed by law, and procedures requiring identity verification, use the electronic signature service or certificate specified by the recipient. Simply attaching an image of a seal does not guarantee legal validity.
Notes on placing company name and personal name in the imprint
Do not replicate actual registered seals or bank seals
Digitized personal seals and bank seals can be misused on unintended documents. This tool is intended only for creating new designs; avoid replicating the exact layout or dimensions of a physical seal.
Do not leave files in shared folders
Created PNGs are ordinary image files. Do not save them to shared folders without access control, public URLs, or email signature fields; manage them with restricted users and purposes.
Keep signer and approval records separate
Combine with records that show who approved what—workflow, request numbers, email approvals, revision history, and so on. It’s important not to rely on the image alone as the approval record.
Processing that does not send entered text or imprint images
Text layout, canvas drawing, PNG creation, resolution metadata, and downloads all happen locally in your browser. Your input text and finished image are never sent to external APIs, generative AI, or WiseChecker’s processing servers. Reloading the page resets all input back to its initial state.
The resulting PNG will be saved to your device’s download location. On a company or shared computer, check your download history, file access permissions, and cloud sync destinations.
FAQ for electronic seal and imprint image creation
Can I create it for free?
No registration required. No limits on image generation or saving.
Is the background really transparent?
The saved PNG has a transparent background. The Word, Excel, and PDF-style backgrounds in the preview are only for display purposes to check how it looks and are not included in the image.
Why does size change when pasted into Word?
Word may ignore or recalculate the image’s resolution information. In the image format settings, enter the width and height in mm as displayed on screen.
Can I fix it within an Excel cell?
After inserting the PNG, in the image properties select “Move and size with cells.” The wording may differ depending on your version of Excel.
Can I stamp directly onto PDF?
This page only creates PNG files. Place the saved PNG using the image insertion feature of your PDF editing software.
Can I use it as an electronic signature?
Not possible. The output is a seal impression image and does not cryptographically prove the signer’s identity or whether the document has been tampered with.
Can I create images of registered seals or bank seals?
Because reuse carries high risk, we do not recommend reproducing and storing an actual seal impression. Use a separate design limited to purposes such as internal review.
Will the font change on the recipient’s PC?
Text is saved as pixels in the PNG, so fonts won’t be replaced after saving. However, the typefaces available at creation time vary by device environment.
