The Android Google Meet app can open a scheduled meeting from its Meetings area. Check the account and invitation before joining, especially when personal and work accounts share the same phone. A missing appointment in one account does not mean the organizer cancelled it or that a replacement meeting is needed.
Find the scheduled session in the app
Open the Meet app on your Android phone or tablet. Under Meetings, select the scheduled meeting you intend to attend. Compare its title and timing with the invitation. Confirm that the app uses the intended work, school, or personal account before entering a meeting whose access depends on that identity.
Review the joining screen
Check your microphone and camera state, then tap Join. Google notes that someone from a different organization may need to tap Ask to join. Wait for the admission decision instead of opening several additional requests. The organizer’s access policy and your administrator’s rules can still affect entry even when the app and invitation are correct.
Use the trusted invitation if the listing is missing
On Android, Google’s Calendar route is to open the event, tap Join with Google Meet, then use the joining control in the window that opens. You can also follow the trusted meeting link received from the organizer. Check whether the event belongs to another signed-in account before requesting a new invitation. If admission fails, report the account used and the exact message to the organizer through the agreed channel. Once connected, verify that you can hear the meeting and that your camera shows only the intended scene. Joining successfully does not automatically enable every premium or host-only feature.
