A Google Calendar hidden from the list can be brought back without recreating it. First distinguish a hidden calendar from one you unsubscribed from or no longer have permission to access. Those states require different recovery steps.
Check the settings list
On a computer, open Settings > Settings. Look for the calendar in the calendar settings sections. Google’s creation guidance describes a control to show a hidden calendar in the calendar list, while its removal guidance also describes previewing a calendar from settings.
Restore its display
Use the available Show in calendar list or appropriate preview/display control for the identified calendar. Return to the main view and confirm the calendar appears. Enable its checkbox if its events are still hidden on the grid.
Do not create a new calendar with the same name as a substitute. A new calendar would not restore the original event history or its sharing relationships.
Verify the real calendar
Open a known event and check its date, calendar name, and relevant details. If the calendar is absent from settings, review the account and whether you unsubscribed or lost access. Ask the owner to share it again when necessary rather than publishing a private calendar or requesting an unrestricted secret feed by default. Hiding is a reversible viewing operation; restoring that view should not broaden access. The completed check should establish that the existing calendar and its expected events are visible again, not merely that a similarly named empty calendar now exists.
