The way to delete verification data depends on why Google collected it. A YouTube advanced-feature identity document, a sign-in selfie video, and an age-verification check are not interchangeable records. Identify the verification type and review the consequences before deleting it.
Check YouTube ID or video verification
If you submitted ID or video verification to unlock advanced YouTube features, open the same Google Account and choose Personal info. Select the available Identity document or Video verification entry, then use Delete if that is your decision.
Deleting this verification before you have established sufficient channel history removes access to advanced features. Google also describes automatic deletion conditions and possible retention for policy enforcement. A deletion request is not a guarantee of immediate removal of all associated enforcement records.
Review a sign-in or feature-access selfie separately
For a selfie video stored with your account, open Google’s Selfie video page and select the delete control beside the relevant video. Check which video you are removing. Deleting a sign-in selfie means you can no longer use it to sign in; deleting a feature-access selfie may remove access to those features.
If available, the optional Improve Google services choice is a separate permission. Turning it off changes that optional use; it is not the same operation as deleting the video. Google says deletion can take time and additional security or policy-related retention can apply.
Do not generalize one deletion path to every verification
If you verified your age through another method, consult the notice and age-verification help for that specific process. The YouTube advanced-feature deletion controls are not a universal list of all documents ever submitted to Google.
For a suspended YouTube account, Google’s guidance provides a verification-data deletion request form in specified regions, including Brazil, Canada, the UK, the EU, and the EEA. Use the linked official form and the same account where possible. Explain a sign-in problem through that process rather than uploading another copy of your document to an unrelated support service. If the record is absent, check the account and verification purpose first; do not assume it proves either that every copy was deleted or that Google never received it.
