Steps to adjust times for international meetings

Why DST changes time differences
Cities like New York, London, and Sydney observe daylight saving time, moving clocks forward seasonally. Start and end dates vary by country and year, and the timing is reversed between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. So remembering fixed values like “Tokyo and New York are always 14 hours apart” is incorrect.
This tool retrieves time zone rules for the specified date and time from your browser. Older operating systems and browsers may have outdated time zone data, so for recent rule changes or important meetings, also check official country information and the calendar display.

How to add to Google Calendar or Outlook
“Copy date/time for Google” copies the UTCYYYYMMDDTHHMMSSZ/YYYYMMDDTHHMMSSZ Copies the format. Use it for Google Calendar event creation URLs or the dates field in internal integration forms. Confirm and enter the title and description separately.
“Save ICS” creates a standard calendar file. It can be opened in Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and others. After importing, check the displayed local time, time zone, end time, notifications, and attendees before saving.
When no business hour options exist
If participating cities are on opposite sides of the world, no time fits everyone within 9 AM to 6 PM. Before uniformly widening business hours, consider recording the meeting and sharing minutes, holding two sessions by region, or rotating early morning and evening burdens monthly.
Candidates use the same business hours for each city and do not consider holidays, company days off, lunch breaks, or individual work contracts. Confirm participants’ calendars and work conditions before finalizing.
Calculations done without sending input
Time differences, daylight saving time, business hour candidates, invitation text, UTC strings, and ICS files are calculated and created in your browser. Meeting titles, locations, and notes are not automatically sent to servers or external calendars. You perform the registration after saving the ICS file.

Does opening the ICS automatically send invitations?
No, it is not sent. Review and save the event, and add participants in your calendar as needed.
Is meeting information sent externally?
No, it is not sent. It is processed in your browser.
