Google Dashboard provides an overview of supported services used with your Google Account and the data associated with them. Use it as an inventory starting point, not as proof that you have found every record, subscription, security event, or outside account.
Open the overview for the right identity
Visit myaccount.google.com/dashboard and check the selected account. You can also reach the overview from Google Account Data & privacy, under the area for data from apps and services you use and content saved from Google services.
If you use personal and organization accounts, inspect them separately. An empty-looking section in one account does not prove that the data in another account has disappeared. Record the full account address privately with your inventory.
Follow the relevant product’s controls
Locate the service you want to review. Depending on the product, Dashboard can offer settings, a download option, or a Help Center link. The available actions are not identical for every service.
Open the product to inspect the information that matters to you. A summary count or service card is not a substitute for checking a specific file, mailbox, calendar, or sharing setting. Some services are not listed in Dashboard at all.
Turn the overview into a useful checklist
- Mark which services contain information you need to keep.
- Identify services whose settings or sharing need review.
- Note which account owns an important item.
- Use a supported export when you need an independent copy.
- Check other accounts and outside providers separately.
If you export data, verify the product selection and inspect the result rather than assuming the Dashboard list automatically becomes a complete backup. Third-party information held outside Google may require that provider’s own export.
Use a different review for a different problem
For unfamiliar sign-ins, use the account’s security activity and device controls. For a recurring charge, inspect the relevant billing or subscription page. Dashboard is useful for seeing where to investigate, but it is not a promise that a missing card means no data or obligation exists. Avoid deleting a service directly from an inventory exercise until you have reviewed its dependencies and saved anything you need.
