If another device does not show your offline Sheets edits, return to the device and browser profile where you made them. The cloud version may simply not have received the changes yet. Do not erase the original local state while investigating.
Compare the exact file and account
Check the spreadsheet identifier, account, and tab on both devices. A copied file with the same name is not the same document. Also confirm that the original edits were made in the browser profile where offline access was configured.
Look at the original device’s document-status indicator and any connection or save warning. A working internet connection on the second device does not establish that the first one has synchronized.
Preserve and upload the original changes
Reconnect the original device to a stable network and keep the file open long enough to check its saved state. Preserve important recent changes in an approved safe location if a save error persists.
Do not paste the same edits into the second device immediately. If the first device subsequently synchronizes, that can duplicate or conflict with the manual repair. Reconcile the actual cloud state before reapplying a change.
Use history after synchronization, not as a promise of local recovery
Where your role permits it, inspect the file’s version history for saved changes. Cloud history cannot be assumed to contain edits that never reached the server. Compare known cells and a saved-state indicator rather than relying only on the file’s modified date.
If recovery remains incomplete, record the original device, profile, file identifier, status warning, and approximate edit time. Avoid clearing site data, reinstalling the browser, or deleting the profile as a first troubleshooting step. Keep the distinction between unsynchronized local work and an actual server-side version change clear.
